Week 8:   Let's Build a House

     Day 49

 Our first arrival of wood from Vowel & Sons Building Supply arrived early Monday morning after a week of no activity

 

The Butler Builders crew arrives and begins to glue down the wood base on top of the foundation blocks

This is what lies beneath the back porch, it will eventually be completely back filled and concrete poured.

 Patrick was off this week and wanted to help, so when he asked the Butlers what he could do they asked if he happened to have a front end loader, to which he replied "why yes I do". So he was put to work moving dirt to build up the front of the garage area. I was quite impressed by his new found talent.
